Esbit-Compagnie GmbH was founded in 1949 by Adolf Langeloh, traditional exporter and Erich Schumm, inventor and manufacturer of Esbit® and Schumm® branded products. Managing Director in 1949 became Fritz Paap. Today Esbit-Compagnie is a third-generation family business.
For now more than 55 years we have been known for our activities in exporting Esbit® solid fuel and its corresponding cooking systems. In addition to that we specialize on Schumm® patented, reusable closure clips since then.
At the same time Esbit-Compagnie concentrates on natural preservatives for the food industry in Germany and other european countries. Through partnership with Anpharm company we are looking back to many years of experience in this field. |
