Natural preservatives for the food industry
Natamycin

Natamycin is an antifungal agent which is obtained from cultures of the Streptomyces Natalensis mould. Natamycin prevents mould and yeast growth.

Our products are shown below:

Natamycin, standardised with lactose. Contains 50% Natamycin
Area of use: dairy industry

Natamycin, standardised with table salt (NaCI). Contains 50% Natamycin
Area of use: Meat processing industry

Natamycin, standardised with glucose. Contains 50% Natamycin
Area of use: Wine and fruit juice industry

Packages: 100g, 500g and 1kg. Special sizes available on request.
Nisin

Nisin, a polypeptide produced by some strains of streptococcus lactis, is a natural food preservative with high efficiency. Nisin possesses antimicrobial activity against a wide range of Gram-positive bacteria, particularly those that produce spores. Nisin is used as a food preservative in a number of thermal processed foods.
